A 32-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her 29-year-old boyfriend in Limassol on Tuesday afternoon after an argument, causing him to be taken to hospital.

According to police, an ambulance rushed to an area of Limassol yesterday afternoon to pick up a 29-year-old injured man. It was found that the man had a knife wound, so the police were informed.

From the investigations that followed, it was determined that the 29-year-old man was injured by his 32-year-old partner who had visited him at his workplace and after a heated discussion between them, she pulled out a knife and injured him.

Police members who went to the scene arrested the woman for the self-inflicted offence of stabbing as a knife was found in her possession. The woman was taken to police, where she reportedly admitted to committing the offense
