The 28-year-old escapee "fell asleep" after breaking into an apartment in the Universal area and was noticed by a citizen and alerted the Police, according to the Press Spokesman and Head of the Paphos Police Station Michael Nicolaou.
In his statements to journalists, Mr. Nicolaou said that "today around 1:30 a.m. the police were informed by a citizen that the main entrance of a certain apartment in the Universal area was broken into".
