In the last 24 hours, the Police filed complaints against 20 citizens and 8 owners or managers of establishments, after 2,149 complaints nationwide, in order to ascertain the observance and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA, 644 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which 11 citizens and 2 establishments were reported, while in Limassol 182 checks were carried out, which resulted in 4 complaints from citizens and 4 establishments.
