In the last four days (6.00 in the morning of 23 December - 6.00 on 27 December), the Police filed complaints against 28 citizens and 63 establishments, after 11,092 checks carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Law on Infectious Diseases.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters Communication Branch told CNA, 2,297 checks were carried out in the last 24 hours, which resulted in 13 complaints from citizens and 6 establishments.
In Nicosia 734 checks were carried out, from which no complaints were made, in Limassol 203 checks were carried out, from which 6 complaints were made by citizens and 3 by managers of establishments.
In Larnaca 431 checks were carried out with 1 complaint from a citizen, in Paphos 130 checks were carried out, which resulted in 1 complaint from a citizen and 1 complaint from a manager.
