In the last 24 hours, after 2,055 checks carried out throughout Cyprus, the Police proceeded with complaints against 20 citizens and 7 establishments, in order to ascertain compliance and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act, issuing an extrajudicial fine of €8.000 to the owner of a supermarket in Famagusta province after the necessary markings at the entrance for customer and employee capacity were not in place.
