The Police filed complaints against 20 citizens and 7 establishments in the last 24 hours, after 2,055 checks carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
As a spokesman for the Police Headquarters Communication Branch told CNA, 821 checks were carried out in Nicosia, which resulted in 7 complaints from citizens and 6 establishments, while in Limassol 188 checks were carried out, which resulted in 6 complaints from citizens and 1 establishment.
