The Limassol Permanent Criminal Court today sentenced a 26-year-old man to two years' imprisonment for starting a fire in plantations and vineyards and causing a fire near the State Forest.
According to a police statement, the fire broke out on November 13, 2021, at around 21.30 and burned three hectares of wild and forest vegetation in the area of the village of Pyrgos, in Limassol.
