The Police made 17 complaints against 17 citizens and 8 owners or managers of establishments in the last 24 hours, following 1,969 checks carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA, 575 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which 5 citizens and 6 establishments were reported, while in Limassol 160 checks were carried out, which resulted in 1 citizen's complaint.
