In the last 24 hours, the Police filed complaints against 17 citizens and 7 owners or managers of establishments, after 1,653 checks carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA, 254 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which 8 citizens and 3 establishments were reported, while in Limassol 194 checks were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints from citizens and 2 establishments.
