In the last 24 hours, after 1,677 checks carried out throughout the country, the Police proceeded with complaints against 15 citizens and 8 owners or managers of establishments, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
As a spokesman for the Police Headquarters Communication Branch told CNA, 328 checks were carried out in Nicosia, in the context of which 8 citizens and 3 establishments were reported, while in Limassol 88 checks were carried out, which resulted in 3 complaints from citizens and 1 establishment.
