In the last 24 hours, the police have received 23 complaints from citizens and 5 establishments for violation of measures against the spread of coronavirus.
A spokesman for the police communication branch told CNA that during the last 24 hours, which ended at 06:00 on Monday morning, 2,143 checks were carried out in free areas.
In Nicosia 519 checks were carried out and 2 citizens' complaints were made, in Limassol 166 checks were carried out and 2 citizens' complaints were made, in Larnaca 1 establishment and 4 citizens' complaints were made after 459 checks were carried out, in Paphos 2 citizens and 3 establishments were complained about after 151 checks, in Famagusta there were 13 citizens' complaints after 557 checks, while in the Morphou area 144 checks were carried out without any complaints.
