2021 was an excellent sporting year for Cyprus, with Cypriot athletes, in all sports, achieving excellent performances and making Cyprus proud, both in the Tokyo Olympics and in other major sporting appointments.
According to an announcement by the NAC, at the 49th Celebration of the Cyprus Sportswriters Association, which will be held on Thursday, 10 March 2022, at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre, under the auspices of the Cyprus Sports Organisation, the top five male and five female athletes and the top three male and three female teams, as determined by the vote of the sports editors, will be awarded.
Beyond that, the NAC announces today the votes received from NAC members for the athletes and teams not included in the top 5/3 teams respectively.
