[CNA] 2,047 new COVID cases announced on Sunday, 182 hospitalized

The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday 2,047 new cases of COVID and 182 hospitalized, of which 41 in serious condition. The positivity rate stands at 2.51%. The total number of deaths with an ultimate cause of COVID is 785 and the number of cases rose to 290,110.

Of the 41 patients in serious condition, 11 are intubated and 30 in Intensive Care Units.
The Ministry announced that the percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination is 69.79%. In addition, 30 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit. [A TOTAL OF 81,650 DIAGNOSTIC TESTS WERE PERFORMED, OF WHICH 6,740 ARE MOLECULAR TESTS. THESE RESULTED IN 222 POSITIVE CASES WITH A POSITIVITY RATE OF 3.29%.
