During the last 24 hours (from 06.00 on Monday until 06.00 on Tuesday), 1,671 checks were carried out by the Police nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with the measures and the implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
A spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA that during the checks 13 complaints from citizens and 6 complaints concerning establishments were received.
As for the checks by province, 392 checks were carried out in Nicosia, which resulted in 5 complaints from citizens and 4 from establishments, 180 checks were carried out in Limassol, which resulted in 3 complaints from citizens and one establishment, and 385 checks were carried out in Larnaca, 89 checks were carried out in Paphos, BR\](CNA)
