In the last 24 hours, the police made 17 complaints during the 1,597 checks carried out in all provinces to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters' Communication Branch told CNA on Friday, the complaints concern three establishments and 14 citizens.
In Nicosia province, 373 checks were carried out and complaints were filed against the managers of two establishments and six citizens.
Four citizens were reported in Limassol after 182 checks, while in Larnaca, one establishment was reported. In total, 341 checks were carried out in the province.
In Paphos, three citizens were reported during 108 checks and one citizen in Famagusta province where 344 checks were carried out.
