One hundred and sixty-two complaints were made in the last four days in the Paphos district, as part of inspections.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, from 06:00 in the morning of 31 December 2021 until 06:00 in the morning of Monday, 3 January 2022, the Pafos Police Directorate, in its effort to reduce road traffic collisions, burglaries and thefts, carried out static checks and patrols.
The checks resulted in a total of 162 complaints, of which 2 complaints related to driving under the influence of drugs, 18 complaints related to driving under the influence of alcohol and 34 complaints related to driving over the speed limit.
