A total of 140 citizens of the Republic of Cyprus who reside permanently or temporarily anywhere in Ukraine are registered on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' online platform www.connect2cy.gov.cy, Ministry spokesman Dimitris Demetriou told CNA.
Asked by CNA. Demetriou said that there is currently no question of chartering flights, as there are still direct commercial flights and anyone who wants to leave the country can do so.
"We have on the platform data on 140 people who are in Ukraine. We have sent them a message with the contact numbers of the Embassy and the Crisis Management Department, as well as relevant links to the travel advisory we issued for Ukraine," he added.
