[CNA] 10 citizens and 5 establishments denounced for violation of COVID measures

In the last 24 hours (6.00 in the morning of 25 December - 6.00 on 26 December), the Police filed complaints against 10 citizens and 5 establishments, after 2,627 checks carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.

A spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA that 1,097 checks were carried out in Nicosia, from which no complaints were made, and 310 checks were carried out in Limassol, from which 2 complaints were made by citizens and 2 by the managers of establishments.

In Larnaca 414 checks were carried out with 1 complaint from a citizen, in Paphos 130 checks were carried out, which resulted in 3 complaints from persons in charge of establishments, in Famagusta, 482 inspections were carried out and there were 7 citizen complaints, in the Morphou area, there were πρα
