Yesterday, July 23, the departure of Wizz Air flight W64549 from Larnaca to Yerevan was delayed for more than 4 hours.


The plane was supposed to leave for Armenia at 18:20, but departed at 22:58. It landed at 01:31 instead of 21:45 (delayed arrival over 3 hours).

Accordingly, the return flight to Cyprus from Yerevan (W64550) was also delayed. The plane was supposed to leave at 22:20, but finally departed at 02:52. It landed at 03:45 instead of 23:55.

The delay was caused by the late arrival of the plane from Tel Aviv to Larnaca. The flight was delayed for more than six hours.

As a reminder, according to EU Regulation 261/2004, if the flight arrival at the destination is delayed for more than 3 hours, the passenger can claim compensation.
