Tomorrow, March 16, air and ferry services in Greece ?? will be effectively halted by a nationwide strike being organized by the country's two largest unions.
Local media report that the Greek air traffic controllers' association, the Greek airport association and the Greek seafarers' federation will take part in the strike. The unions are calling for increased safety in all modes of transport.
According to Greek airport boards, the status of almost all flights is Cancelled, Aegean and Olympic Air have all flights cancelled. If you have planned a trip to/from Greece on March 16, check your flight status with the airline/agents/airport board.
