There have been requests to talk about Shirak Avia. Today we are getting to know them.
Shirak Avia is an airline in Armenia, established in 2019. At the end of 2020 the airline received its first Boeing 737 aircraft in its fleet, but the first flight was not performed until June 2022.
Now the Shirak Avia air fleet consists of two Boeing family planes - 25 and 29 years old. The workhorse of the airline at the moment is the 25-year-old airliner, which flies to all the destinations that are on their schedule. It does have delays, but they are relatively tolerable, within 2-3 hours. Since the beginning of February the only serious delay was in a flight from Novgorod to Yerevan, the delay was about 9 hours.
The second plane, a 29-year-old Boeing, flew from Yerevan to Amman on December 17 and has not flown again so far.
Shirak Avia mainly flies between Yerevan and Russia (Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Nov Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Perm, Saratov, and Ufa. Flights to Omsk were also planned, but were recently removed from the schedule).
