The Moldovan Civil Aviation Authority revoked Air Moldova's operating certificate. The revocation of the certificate means that Air Moldova will no longer be able to operate flights.
Recall, On May 2, 2023, Air Moldova announced that it would suspend flights and ticket sales, explaining that it would launch an accelerated restructuring.
The Certification Commission reported that Air Moldova, after more than six months, has still not provided any evidence to prove that the irregularities have been corrected, does not have any aircraft and does not meet the requirements to maintain its certificate.
Local media reported that the company's debt to passengers for tickets is about €9 million, with about 75,000 tickets sold.
