On the occasion of the 6.000 applications budgeted for the first phase of Category A3 "Photovoltaics for All", under the "Grant Scheme to encourage the use of Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving in Homes 2024-25", the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (MoETI) is pleased with the response of electricity consumers to this Category.
Already, it is noted, the RES and EE Fund has completed the review and sent responses to over 5,000 applicants. And pre-approval has been given to some 4,000 electricity consumers, who have a 10-month deadline and can now proceed with bids from installers on the "Participating Marketers" list and, subsequently, with the installation of photovoltaic systems in their homes.
The Ministry, which will soon proceed with the announcement of the second phase of the new "Photovoltaics for All" Category, expects that the operation of photovoltaic systems in the grid, which will come from this Category, will increase significantly in the next period with the response of the market to the increased demand, resulting in a consequent reduction of the overall installation time.
