The President of the Republic Mr.Nikos Christodoulides had today a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Lebanon Mr.Najib Mikati.
The telephone conversation took place following President Christodoulides' visit to Lebanon on 8 April, where he was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Interior and the Commander of the National Security Service/National Security Advisor, with regard to the progress of the implementation of what was discussed during the visit.
The President of the Republic also briefed the Lebanese Prime Minister on his contacts at the level of the European Union, as to the role he can play in the joint effort.
Finally, the two leaders agreed to remain in contact for further coordination.
