[PIO] Working Visit to Cyprus of the Head and Members of the Greek Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe

The head of the Greek delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Mrs. Evripidis Stylianides, Mrs. Maria Siregela, Mr. George Papandreou, Mr. Ioannis Economou, Mr. George Stamatis, Mrs. Anna Efthymiou, Mr. Anastasios Hadjivassiliou, Mrs. Nina Kasimati, Mr. Dimitrios Mantzos and Mrs. Liana Kanelli will pay a working visit to Cyprus between 8 and 10 April 2024, at the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mrs. Anita Demetriou.

During their stay here, the Greek MPs will be received by the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mrs. Anita Demetriou and the Archbishop of Cyprus Mr. George III. They will have separate meetings with the head of the delegation Mr. Nikos Tornaritis and the members of the Cypriot delegation to the CSCE, Mr. George Loukaidis, Ms. Christiana Erotokritou and Mr. Kostis Efstathiou, and with the Mayor of Nicosia Mr. Constantinos Yiorkatzis.

As part of the visit, a round table discussion will be held at the premises of the Foundation for Parliamentarianism and Participatory Democracy on the topic "European elections amidst geopolitical challenges", with Mrs Demetriou and Mrs Bakoyannis as keynote speakers. The debate will be attended by the members of the Greek and Cypriot delegations to the CSCE and the Chairman and members of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
