[PIO] Working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Oman

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos paid a working visit to Oman on 27-28 January 2024.

During his stay in Muscat, Mr.Kombos had a meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi. Discussions focused on bilateral relations between Cyprus and Oman, with the two Ministers reaffirming their commitment to further strengthen and expand cooperation in various fields. Mr. Kombos had the opportunity to brief his Omani counterpart on the latest developments on the Cyprus issue and exchanged views on European Union (EU)-Oman relations, as well as on current regional developments.

In the framework of the visit, the Foreign Minister visited the Oman Maritime Security Centre and held separate meetings with the Minister of the Royal Office, Lieutenant General Sultan bin Mohammed al Nu'amani and the Minister of State for Political Affairs, Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy.
