[PIO] Working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada to Cyprus

Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly will pay a one-day working visit to Cyprus on Monday, 13 May 2024.

During the visit, Ms Joly, accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos, will visit the Port of Larnaca. The two Ministers will then proceed to the Zenon Coordination Centre, where they will hold extended consultations. They will then tour the Centre's facilities and make statements to the media.

The discussions will focus on bilateral relations between Cyprus and Canada, the Cyprus problem, developments in relation to Ukraine, as well as the situation in the Middle East, including the implementation of the Amalthea Plan to send humanitarian aid to Gaza through the maritime humanitarian corridor.
