The Minister of Defence, Mr. Charalambos Petridis, was close to the National Guardsmen and the officers who are on duty serving their country during these Holy Days.
Accompanied by the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis, the Minister of Defence made visits to National Guard outposts in the line of defence in view of Christmas and New Year.
Mr. Petridis talked with officers and National Guardsmen, exchanged greetings and offered symbolic gifts.
During the visits, choirs with National Guardsmen sang carols and other festive songs.
