1. Post of Director of the Department of Agriculture
According to the notification number 1473 published in the Official Gazette of the Republic dated 22.12.2023, the permanent post of Director of the Department of Agriculture has been advertised for filling, which is expected to become vacant from 1.6.2024 due to the retirement of its holder.
Applications can only be submitted electronically through the website of the Civil Service Commission or via the website www.gov.cy in the "Employment and Insurance-> Applications-> Appointment or Promotion in the Civil Service" section by Friday 12 January 2024 at 14:00.
To proceed with the completion of the online application, the applicant must be a registered user of the government portal gov.cy. Identification of applicants at a Citizen Service Centre or other authorised centre is not necessary.
The applicant selects the position for which he/she is interested and fills in the application fields. All mandatory fields must be completed for the application to be successful.
The salary of the post is fixed and amounts to €89,161 p.a., to which are added any general increases approved by legislation. In addition, a marginal allowance shall be paid at such rate as may be approved by the Government from time to time.

2. Vacancy of Senior Cultural Officer - Deputy Ministry of Culture
According to the notification number 1504 published in the Official Gazette of the Republic dated 29.12.2023, the vacant permanent post of Senior Cultural Officer, Deputy Ministry of Culture has been advertised to be filled.
Applications can only be submitted electronically through the website of the Public Service Commission or through the website www.gov.cy in the "Employment and Insurance-> Applications-> Appointment or Promotion in the Public Service" section until Friday 19 January 2024 at 14:00.
To proceed with the completion of the online application, the applicant must be a registered user of the government portal gov.cy. Identification of applicants at a Citizen Service Centre or other authorised centre is not necessary.
The applicant selects the position for which he/she is interested and fills in the application fields. All mandatory fields must be completed for successful submission of the application.
Approved Salary Scale: A13(ii): €53,258, 55,360, 57,462, 59,564, 61,666, 63,768, 65,870, 67,972, 70,074. Any general increases approved by legislation are added to the payroll. In addition, marginal allowance shall be paid as per the rate approved by the Government from time to time.
