The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mrs Anita Demetriou, held a meeting today, Friday, February 18, 2022, with a delegation of the Pancyprian Confederation of Federations of Associations of Parents of Public Secondary Schools, during which they discussed in particular the problems faced by students in secondary education, with particular reference to the evaluation process of four-year assessment, students with an immigrant biography and the Regulations for the operation of secondary schools.
The President of the House of Representatives welcomed the action of the confederation and expressed her full support for the work it carries out, stressing that the proper education of young people is a top priority for society as a whole. It also took the initiative to implement targeted actions in order to familiarise students with the work and functioning of the Chamber of Deputies and to make them aware of the work produced by the Chamber.
