[PIO] The public is advised to avoid flying kites and/or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAVs) in the run-up to Carnival

The Civil Aviation Department informs the public and especially excursionists that the flying of kites and/or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones) in the aircraft approach area to the runways of Larnaca and Paphos airports may endanger flights and cause concern to the flying personnel.

Tourists are requested to avoid flying kites and Drones in the airport areas.
