[PIO] The President of the Republic will participate in the Plenary Session of the EPP

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Nicos Christodoulides, will leave today, 6 March, in the afternoon, for Bucharest, Romania, where he will participate in the proceedings of the European People's Party (EPP), which will take place on 6 and 7 March.

On 7 March, President Christodoulides will address the Plenary Session of the EPP, which will address, among other issues, the Future of Europe and the European elections.

In the margins of the EPP, the President of the Republic is expected to have contacts with the leaders of the European Union Member States participating in the EPP and with representatives of EU institutions.

The President of the Republic, who will return to Cyprus in the afternoon of 7 March, will be accompanied in Bucharest by the Director of the President's Press Office, Mr. Victor Papadopoulos and officials.
