[PIO] The President of the Republic met with the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General for the Cyprus problem

The President of the Republic Mr Nicos Christodoulides met this morning with the Personal Envoy of the United Nations (UN) Secretary General (UNSG) for the Cyprus problem, Ms María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar.

The meeting took place in Brussels on the sidelines of the European Council, in which the President of the Republic participates.

The meeting discussed the efforts made by Mrs Holguín as the UN Secretary-General's envoy to resume negotiations on the Cyprus problem and find a solution to the problem.
