[PIO] The President of the Republic goes to Brussels

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Nicos Christodoulides, will be in Brussels tomorrow evening, where he will participate in the European Council and the European People's Party Summit.

During the European People's Party meeting, which will take place on Thursday, 27 June, in the morning, the issues on the agenda of the European Council meeting will be discussed.

In the afternoon of the same day, President Christodoulides will participate in the work of the European Council Summit.

The Summit will address, among others, the EU Heads of Institution package, the Strategic Agenda 2024-2029, the situation in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East and the Migration issue.

The work of the Summit will continue on the morning of 28 June.

The President of the Republic, who will return to Cyprus on the evening of 28 June, will be accompanied in Brussels by the Government Spokesman Mr. Konstantinos Letibiotis, the Deputy Minister for European Affairs Mrs Marilena Raouna, the Director of the President's Press Office Mr Victor Papadopoulos and officials.
