The President of the Republic Mr Nikos Christodoulides, accompanied by his wife Mrs Philippa Karseras Christodoulides, will leave tomorrow morning for Paris, where he will attend the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, at the invitation of the President of France Mr Emmanuel Macron.
Tomorrow evening, the President of the Republic and his wife will attend a reception hosted by President Macron and the President of the International Olympic Committee at the Presidential Palace in Paris, followed by the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
On Saturday, 27 July, the President of the Republic will attend the games involving Cypriot athletes, while in the evening he and his wife will attend a reception hosted by the Ambassador of the Republic to France in honour of the members of the Cyprus National Olympic Team.
On 28 July, the President of the Republic will attend events involving Cypriot athletes and visit the Olympic Village.
President Christodoulides and his wife will return to Cyprus in the afternoon of 29 July.
