The Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance announces that the bank transfers for the first payment of the new pensioners who reached the age of 65 by 31/8/2023 have been sent and their pensions will be available in their bank accounts tomorrow 29/9/2023.

The timely payment of the statutory pension within one month of reaching the retirement age has been achieved by optimising the use of existing capacities, simplifying procedures and introducing innovations.

New pensioners retiring at age 65 now receive the first payment within one month instead of after several months as was previously the case, and by the end of 2023 the same will apply to all new pensioners including those retiring early at age 63.

It should be noted that the calculation of the pension amount is based on the existing information available in the pensioners' individual insurance accounts and any limited deviations from the final pension amount will be accounted for and settled retroactively.

The aim of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance is the timely payment of all allowances and benefits paid by the Social Insurance Services and it is estimated that through the implementation of the government's planning, this will gradually become feasible in the coming period.
