[PIO] The Ministry of Interior on the illegal conversion of an industrial unit into a residence for migrants

View attachment 23276

The report to a TV station about the illegal conversion of an industrial unit into a place to house immigrants unfortunately confirms what the Interior Ministry has been systematically suggesting.
This incident was reported by the Minister of Interior on 19 October 2021 with specific details to the Immigration and Immigration Service of the Police.
This new case reaffirms the need for all the competent authorities of the state, including the Local Authorities, the Police and the Courts, to become more effective and more decisive both in the checks for the suitability of the premises, the fight against undeclared work and the exemplary punishment of those owners who break the law and enrich themselves at the expense of unsuspecting migrants who are grossly exploited.
In a coordinated state, such illegalities cannot be tolerated by anyone.
The Home Office is not a law enforcement agency. But it will continue to report such phenomena and hand over evidence to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
