Health Minister Michael Damianos had a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Health Insurance Organisation today. In a statement, Mr Damianos said that this was a meeting to get to know the members of the Board of Directors of the OAS.
"It is a good opportunity to discuss the problems and challenges that have arisen and to find ways to address them. Through cooperation and transparency we can get the best possible results," the Health Minister noted.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agency, Mr. Stavros Michael, thanked the Minister of Health, who, he said, chose to visit OAI only a few twenty-four hours after taking office.
Mr. Damianos' visit demonstrates the support of the Ministry of Health in the effort to upgrade the services offered in an environment that will also upgrade the sustainability of the Organization.
