The High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Andreas P. Koozoupis, presented his credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, at a ceremony held on Tuesday 19 December at the Aiwan-e-Sadr Presidential Palace in Islamabad.
High Commissioner Koozoupis conveyed the warm greetings of the President of the Republic Mr. Nicos Christodoulides to the President of Pakistan, noting Cyprus' willingness to further develop and expand bilateral relations between the two countries in all areas.
Welcoming the High Commissioner of Cyprus, President Alvi referred to the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Cyprus and Pakistan, as well as the EU-Pakistan partnership.
