MP Panicos Leonidou, head of the Cypriot delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy (IPA) and Member of the International Secretariat of the Assembly, is travelling to Sarajevo to participate in a mission of the Assembly's delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Belgium. Mr Leonidou will be accompanied by Mr Vassilis Koliaris, the Assembly's International Relations Officer I.
In Sarajevo, the delegation will hold meetings with political, state and religious bodies. On Monday, 12 February, members of the delegation will participate in a conference hosted by the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the role of parliamentary and religious leaders in building peaceful coexistence in the world.
In Brussels, the delegation will attend a presentation of the IOA's tribute volume "Saint Sophia: The Temples of the Wisdom of God around the World" and the photo exhibition of the same name at the Ambiorix Orthodox Centre on Wednesday, 14 February 2024. The event is co-organised by IFO, the Holy Metropolis of Belgium and the Brussels Greek Network "Argo". The main speaker will be Mr. Leonidou.
