The Head of Humanitarian Affairs for the Missing and Trapped Ms Anna Aristotelous received at her office the young trapped athlete Zacharyani Kyprianou, who was accompanied by her mother Vassoula Harpa. Zacharyani took first place in her category (32 kg) at the Mediterranean Muay Thai 2023 Games held in Greece between 2-5/11/2023.
Mrs Aristotelous congratulated the little Zacharyani, and said that she is an example for all children to engage in healthy activities and take advantage of every possible opportunity given to them for learning, training, sports and entertainment. Through such actions and activities, children gain the prospect of discovering aptitudes and skills that will help in their intellectual, physical and personal development.
Mrs. Aristotelous wished Zacharyani good luck and assured her that she personally and, more generally, the Service she heads support every such effort to encourage other children in this direction to engage in activities that lead to their personal growth, progress and development.
