[PIO] The Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus and the Commissioner for Gender Equality discussed their institutional cooperation

Gender equality policy and financial education for rural women were the main topics of discussion between the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) Mr Christodoulos Patsalides and the Gender Equality Commissioner Ms Joyce Christodoulou, during their meeting today at the Central Bank.

During the meeting, the institutional cooperation between the CBC and the Office of the Commissioner was agreed upon with the aim of implementing the National Strategy for the Promotion of Financial Literacy and Financial Education, within the framework of the National Strategy for Gender Equality, on which Ms Christodoulou informed the Governor extensively.
