Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will pay a one-day working visit to Lebanon tomorrow, Tuesday, 12 March 2024, at the invitation of his Lebanese counterpart Mr. During his stay in Beirut, the Foreign Minister will have a meeting with Mr. Bou Habib, in the presence of delegations of the two Foreign Ministries. Discussions will focus on bilateral relations and the prospect of further deepening them, regional developments and migration. Mr. Kombos will also brief his counterpart on current developments in the Cyprus problem.
After the talks, the Ministers will make statements to the media.
During his visit, Mr. Kombos will be received by the acting Prime Minister of the country, Mr. Najib Mikati, and by the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Nabih Berri. He will also meet with the Chief of the Lebanese Armed Forces General Joseph Aoun.
