From 06:00 on 16 February 2022 until 06:00 on 17 February 2022, the Fire Service responded to 22 calls for assistance, 13 fires and nine special services.
At 04:07 a call was received for a fire in a cafeteria on Vasileos Pavlou Street in Limassol. The St. John Fire Station of Sergeant Vasilis Krokou with a firefighting team and two fire engines responded and the fire was brought under control at 04:25. At the time of the fire there were no people in the area. The cafeteria was extensively damaged by the fire and heat. The cause of the fire will be investigated later today, in cooperation with the police.
