From 06:00 on 1 February 2022 until 06:00 on 2 February 2022, the Fire Service responded to 20 calls for assistance, 5 fires and 15 special services.
At 18:50 a call was received for a fire at a liquor store on Protaras Cavo Greco Avenue in Paralimni. The Famagusta Fire Station Sergeant Adamou Adamou with a firefighting team and 4 (four) fire engines responded and the fire was brought under control at 20:30. At the time of the fire there were no persons in the area. Due to the fire and heat, liquor items (drinks and other products) were burnt and the building was affected internally by the smoke. The cause of the fire will be investigated later today, in cooperation with the police.
