The Ministry of Culture is pleased to announce two more recent successes of Cypriot short films on the international festival scene.
We start with the success of Savvas Stavros' award-winning short film "BUFFER ZONE" at the Greek Film Festival in Berlin, where it won the Best Short Film Award. The award comes with a cash prize of €500.
Meanwhile, the film "TAXI" by director and producer Konstantinos Nikiforos secured a place in the European Comic Film section of the European Independent Film Festival. At the same time, "TAXI" was one of the films that closed the San Francisco Greek Film Festival with great success and very good reviews.
The above productions are co-financed by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Ministry of Culture, through the special programmes for cinema.
