[PIO] Statements by the Director of the President's Press Office on the meeting of the President of the Republic with the Rector of the National

The President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulides received today at the Presidential Palace the Rector of the National Technical University of Athens Mr.

After the meeting, the Director of the President's Press Office Mr: "The President of the Republic had a meeting today with the rectorial authorities of the National Technical University of Athens.

During the meeting, the President of the Republic was informed about the intention of the National Technical University of Athens to open a branch in Cyprus, offering all the specialties offered by the National Technical University in Athens.

The Cypriot Government and the President of the Republic personally welcome this intention of the Rectorial Authorities of the National Technical University of Cyprus, which is part of the internationalisation process and the needs of both the Cypriot economy and the society of Cyprus."
