The Director General of the Cyprus Standards Organisation (CYS) Ms Athina Panayiotou and the Managing Director of the European Institute of Management & Finance (EIMF) Mr. Marios Siathas signed on 23 July 2024, at the offices of EIMF, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The signing of this MoU is an important step towards strengthening the cooperation relations between the two organisations. In addition, the two organisations aim to synergise within the framework provided by their respective areas of competence.
Important areas of common interest and activity were identified in Corporate Governance, Sustainable Finance, Financial Management and Compliance Management, training and research in joint projects, as well as the exchange of technical expertise to promote knowledge sharing.
In a broad meeting between officials from both sides, views were exchanged and it was agreed to implement an action plan, The actions will be jointly managed by directly concerned staff and progress will be recorded and reviewed as appropriate.
