The Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, announces that the revision of the Beekeepers' Register, which is carried out in the framework of the implementation of the Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/126, for the period 2023-2024, is scheduled to start on 2 October 2023 and will last until 6 November 2023.
A letter will be sent to all registered beekeepers, to which a letter will be attached:
- the form "TG320 - Beekeeper's Declaration"
- the form "MEL04 - Statistical Information Form"
All beekeepers who own hives and domestic cages or new beekeepers who are unlikely to receive a letter from the Department of Agriculture are invited to contact the Provincial or District Agricultural Offices in their Province to complete the relevant forms. It should be noted that these forms will also be available online on the Department of Agriculture's website www.moa.gov.cy/da, in the Announcements section.
New beekeepers or beekeepers who wish to re-activate should additionally submit the form concerning the beekeepers' consent to the collection, storage and processing of Personal Data.
Please note that 6 November 2023 is set as the last date for submission of the relevant declarations.
