During today's (21.06.24) regular briefing of the international media at the UN, the Deputy Representative of the Secretary-General, Mr. Farhan Haq, referring to a question asked yesterday whether the Personal Envoy of the Secretary-General Ms. María Ángela Holguín intends to visit Cyprus, stated that there are no plans to visit Cyprus at this time. She added, however, that Ms. Holguin will meet with the leaders of the two communities separately outside Cyprus in the coming weeks.
